Living Local

The work of Kahua Pa’a Mua featured on LIVING LOCAL TV with Bernadette Baraquio.

Kahua Pa’a Mua is based in North Kohala on Hawai’i Island. North Kohala is rich in Hawaiian culture, with families that have lived here for generations. All of our programs are culturally-based and primarily serve youth and adults of Hawaiian ancestry. In every program we ask our students to consider:

1. Origin: Know your origin because your ancestors have prepared the way. 
2. Values: Connect with your true values because it drives you to make sound decisions.
3. Purpose: Recognizing  your purpose because it help you understand the “why” of doing.
4. Envision the ultimate for yourself and your lahui.
